The past couple of weeks we have been asked to dive into the world of brochures. We learned the ins and outs of what brochures are and how to correctly form them. Our assignment has been to create a brochure for the OU PRSSA chapter that focuses on recruiting incoming freshman as well as upcoming sophomores. I have now picked up on different types of brochures and what information to put on each panel. I would like to know more about how to use InDesign in a more efficient way so that my brochure looks as best as it can. I would also like to learn more about how to correctly write to persuade. Knowing how to properly create a brochure is a very important skill set to have as a public relations professional. It is important to know how to write toward your key publics. Understanding how to create a brochure will help me in my future career in public relations because it is something not a lot of people know about.
