Why I Love Will Smith

Let’s get straight to the point. Of all actors, why Will Smith? What makes him better than every other actor out there? Let me try to explain this the best way I can. Every actor has had a defining moment in his or her life, which has led him or her to pursue a career in acting. Some actors accept any role just to get their name in the door, while others filter out roles they don’t approve of, solely because they don’t want to be perceived as that type of person. In every movie Will Smith has been apart of, he’s always been the good, genuine, caring character. Ironically enough, I don’t believe this to be him acting; I feel as if this is actually who he is.

Aside from the fact that his roles have proven who he really is, I’ve taken the time to do extensive research on his beginnings, his stance on worldly topics, as well as how he feels he’s giving back to the community. Most people of fame and fortune see their way of giving back as donating X amount of money to fhfds charity, and calling it a day. Does Will Smith do that? Maybe, but he also helps out in ways that aren’t tangible, ways that can be seen as much more important in the long run. Will smith is seen as motivation to the youth. He’s an idol that proves you really can achieve whatever you want in life through hard work & discipline, with the right mindset. Many people see life as having certain preset pathways paved out for them, and the only options they have are to choose one of those pathways & follow in the footsteps of the person before them. Will Smith is the one who not only paved a pathway, but also encourages the youth to pave one for themselves instead of just following in his or anyone else’s. He believes that by doing just that, you are adding the building blocks needed in your life to achieve true happiness. You are taking control of life itself out of anyone else’s hands but your own, giving you the utmost freedom that any human being can experience. He speaks of manifestation, yet instead of discouraging it like many other celebrities, he encourages it & talks about how he’s used it to get to where he is today. Will smith is, and always will be one of my idols, simply because he is his own man.
